Basic Nitrox

Course Duration: One day (incl. 4hrs theory), 2 dives

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old (with parents consent up to 15 years old)
• Open Water Diver Certification (or equivalent)
• Be medically fit to dive

Description:

This is an entry level technical certification course for recreational divers wishing to use enriched air nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas.

The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content. The course is scheduled over one day. Prior to beginning the course you will be given the ‘TDI Understanding Nitrox’ workbook. As with all our training we ask you to complete the knowledge reviews before you arrive for your academic presentation. As with all TDI training courses there is a written exam.
