  Wreck Brioni

Steamship Brioni is built in Monfalcone in 1909. It was passenger-cargo steamship, which had speed of 12.5 nodes. It floated on coast line from Dalmatia to Albania transporting passengers and cargo. During The first world war it floated in duty of navy as a cargo steamship, when it has been agrouned (1917) for the first time on the island Galun in near by Krk. Steamship has sunken in 2.Feb1930 on the line Split-Vis during the storm, bad visibility, strong rain, hiting in coast of cape Jezera on the island Ravnik. Acording to documentation, it transported tobacco and wine.
